23.365 Twenty Seven

22.365 Baby Bath Time

Tegan usually takes baths in her blue infant/toddler bath.  Tonight was her first time in the big girl bath and she loved it!  I love watching her play.  Lately I've been a little sappy about the fact that my baby girl is turning one soon.  I really can't believe how fast this is going by.  I know, I know - I can just hear all you grandmas saying just wait until she turns 14 and 25 and 80, but for me this is flying by already.  Moving up to the big girl bath is another reminder of her growth.  I don't always do a good job of cherishing the small moments, but lately I have been trying hard to slow down and enjoy.

Tegan baby, you are a fun, spunky, adventurous, sweet baby and I love you with all my heart!

21.365 Sick Day

For the past two days I have been laying around the house with the stomach bug.  Ugh.  I haven't been that sick in a long time and I'm happy to be over that one!!

I made a crib rail protector for Tegan today and it was really easy!  All you do is cut up some fleece and tie it on the rails.  This way she will be sucking on the fabric instead of eating the paint.

16.365 Sick Baby

Tegan's been sick.  Poor baby.  It's been a rough start to the spring semester.  She's on the mend now though.  This is a sampling of products found on our bar recently.  I hope to put them all away for a long time!

13.365 Trying Something New

I decided to go a little overboard on my organization this week.  Phillip starts back to school tomorrow and I am trying to be as prepared as possible going into the change of pace for all of us.  It's always hard to adjust to each new semester's schedule and right when I get the hang of it, it changes again.  I guess life's like that!  My friend Margaret had a really good idea to plan all of her outfits in advance for the week instead of just the next day's outfit.  I think it's a great idea!  You are already in your closet anyway, right?!  Just check the weather and plan away.  So far I'm loving this idea.  Hopefully it will make this transition week go a little smoother.  Here's my week!

1.6.13 Walking on Swiss

Yes that's a sock in her mouth.  She doesn't like to wear them on her feet.

1.5.13 Turkey

I made my first turkey today, but forgot to take a picture of the bird before it was carved.  It was a yummy meal shared with friends none the less!
