Our ups guy is getting bumped off his route by someone with slightly more experience with the company. We are not happy about this. This is the type of guy who really brightens your day and I hate to see him go. We thought Friday was going to be his last day, however he didn't show. So either he's gone or we might see him tomorrow. Here is our send off.

Tegan was quite fussy towards the end of the day today so as a last resort, I decided to make a busy bin for her. I put some black beans and pasta in a bin and let her go to town making a mess. (Watching closely to make sure she didn't eat any beans of course.) It kept her busy 'til bath time. Success!!

At work I wear many hats. Drawing tile layouts is a big part of what I do. It's also a very tedious part of my jobs at times. Today I was powering through this painstaking pattern. I take it all in, the good and the tedious. All in all I have a great job that fits me well and I'm thankful.

My company recently purchased another quarry and I got to go visit. I loved getting out if the city for a bit and riding around in the mud looking at rocks. It was refreshing and took me back to my roots, y'all!

Every time I open the refrigerator, Tegan comes right over to explore. I love her adventurous side even though it makes cooking dinner more challenging. After she was asleep tonight, I opened the fridge to find a little baby shoe inside. Hmmmmm. How did that get in there I wonder???

Today's outing was for gelato. Phillip picked the place - Paciugo in Lakewood and it was delicious. I love when we get to hang out with the Bradshaws. I'm truly thankful to have found such special friends here in Dallas. Here's Tegan with Byron.

Today was Daphne's birthday party. When we came in the girls got so excited to see one another! It was precious. I wish I got a better pic of the two of them today but here they are hanging out at the party. Happy Birthday Daphne!!
